To meet the high demand we've been having, and with all our own hay already committed, we've sourced a natural hay from the area with characteristics similar to ours.

So we can offer you: natural Pyrenees meadow hay, worked in the traditional way on meadows in l'Alt Urgell at 1,700 meters, deep in the Lleida Pyrenees.

Rain-fed meadow hay is an excellent, very healthy option for feeding herbivorous animals (such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, horses and livestock), thanks to its great nutritional balance and natural origin.

Main characteristics

• High botanical variety: it comes from fields that aren't artificially irrigated, so it naturally mixes different types of grasses, legumes and wild herbs.
• Rich in fiber: it has a high insoluble fiber content, essential for dental wear and the proper functioning of the digestive system.
• Low in calories and calcium: since it isn't over-fed with fertilizers or intensive irrigation, it tends to be lighter, which helps prevent obesity and urinary problems (kidney stones).
• Aroma and palatability: it tends to have a very intense scent of the countryside that pets find very appealing.

In short, it's an ideal base hay for everyday feeding, providing a diet closer to what animals would have in the wild.

All the hay we offer our customers is a first and only cut, short-stemmed, nutritious, with a high content of fiber and minerals and maximum digestibility.

All the hay is stored in the hayloft attached to the house, which guarantees top-quality hay, keeping its green color and characteristic aroma, resulting in a natural, balanced and healthy feed for your horse.
