Premium hay from our own high-mountain meadows, from the producer straight to your stable.

Mown between 1,470 and 1,700 meters in Lles de Cerdanya. We cut from June to July, with the grass in early bloom, and sun-dry it, without forcing it. Each bale weighs between 18 and 20 kilos and is baled right on the plot.

At that altitude the grass grows slowly: it gives a fine stem and abundant leaf, exactly what you look for in horse forage —digestible fiber, without the lignin of a late-mown hay—. Lab analysis gives a 92.6% dry matter (well above the 82% of premium hay) and maximum digestibility.

No synthetic fertilizers or treatments, no additives, no preservatives and no hot-pressing. That's the difference from conventional hay.

Quantity and shipping

The price includes delivery to your stable within Catalonia; outside Catalonia, delivery carries a €300 surcharge. Choose the format that suits your needs: 20 bales fit in a van, 140 require a van with a trailer. We arrange the delivery day and time by phone before we set out.

Storage

Store the bales in a dry, ventilated place, raised off the ground and sheltered from rain. A well-stored hay keeps its nutritional value all season; moisture is its only real enemy.
