Premium Pyrenees meadow hay with carrot
Our Premium Pyrenees meadow hay with dehydrated carrot. The same Premium base as always —mown at 1,470 metres, June cut, sun-dried— with carrot cut and dehydrated with no added sugars or preservatives, at a ratio of 20 g of carrot per 500 g of hay.
Carrot works as an incentive: animals that eat little hay tend to eat more once they find something sweet among the blades. It's the simplest way to get a reluctant rabbit to eat the fiber it needs.
Formats
Available from 1.5 kg to 10 kg. We also make it with nettle instead of carrot; ask us if you're interested.
A word of caution
Carrot is a treat, not forage. If your animal is overweight or has dental problems, natural hay with no extras is best, with the carrot given separately and in measured amounts.

Shipping and lead times
Shipping is calculated at checkout, based on the order's weight and destination. On the Spanish mainland, delivery in 24-48 business hours.
Storage
A dry, ventilated place, raised off the ground and sheltered from rain. Never in a closed plastic bag: hay needs to breathe. Well stored, it keeps its nutritional value all season.
Which animals it's for
Rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and small rodents, for whom our Premium hay is the base of the diet, not a supplement.
